For me, it's remembering that the idea of "don't break the streak" tends to be fairly toxic. Not everything can (or should) be done every day. I've grown to appreciate the apps that allow you to turn off streak trackers. It can be really demoralizing to have an off day or a sick day have that be the one thing that feels like it sets you all the way back to the beginning since the record of your progress seems to *poof* disappear. Let's normalize breaking the streak! How about counting repetitions instead? Miss a day for whatever reason? NBD, just keep going when appropriate for you.
