You don't need another glorified calendar or productivity app.
Ever bought a planner and thought, “Finally, a tool that will help me track and accomplish my projects”? ...and then a month later, you’re so discouraged and frustrated that you throw the dang thing out.
Here’s why: Most planners aren’t designed for the way you actually work. They’re designed by well-meaning people stuck in the old way of thinking about time management. Specifically, those planners are designed for setting appointments and meetings in a traditional work environment.
It used to be that if you had a place — paper or digital — to track all of your meetings and appointments, you’d be good to go. But that’s not enough anymore.
You need a complete, intuitive system that helps you...
Identify your big goals and projects.
Break projects into daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly action items.
Plan when to spend time on action items.
Track progress on goals and projects.
View the digital pack in action.
The Momentum Planner is a visual product, so you need to see the planners to understand them. If you’re interested in seeing how the bundle fits together, give these demo planners a look:
What's New for 2021: More Space to Write!
• In the Daily planners, we condensed and removed some elements to give you more writing space. We've expanded the size of Today’s Projects and Scheduled Events, and removed the spots to mark your energy levels near the Supporting and Emergent Tasks sections. We also added a bit of blank space to the left of any checkboxes for those who want to continue to track things like their energy levels or priority.
• In the Weekly planners, we also shifted some elements so there's more room to breathe and write. Most noticeably, you'll see we removed Priority, Planned Time and Actual Time in the Weekly Dashboard section. Similarly to the Daily planners, we added a bit of blank space to the left of any checkboxes for those who want to continue to track things like their energy levels or priority.
How does the digital pack compare with our free planners?
We offer limited versions of our planners every month for free, so some people wonder why they should buy the more-encompassing planners when they can just get their planners every month at no cost.
Here are a few reasons the Momentum Planner Digital Pack is worth $18 of your hard-earned cash.
You'll be able to:
- Plan the rest of your year at once
- Skip the hassle of downloading a new planner every month
- Use the Yearly Momentum Planner and the Quarterly Momentum Planner (only included in the Momentum Planner Digital Pack) to track your big-picture goals
A word from Charlie Gilkey, founder of Productive Flourishing.
Before I started designing our planners, I loved the idea of having a ready-made tool to help me find a place for all the ideas, goals, and to-dos rolling around in my head, but in reality, they were always disappointing. Most were calendars and appointment books, which were useless to me (gee, thanks for duplicating the calendar on my computer... that’s helpful).
As I worked with more people whose success depended on being able to convert ideas into finished projects and demonstrable results — leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, programmers, students, change agents, and a host of other creative types — I realized that I wasn’t alone in thinking that the traditional planners just weren’t cutting it.
Unfortunately, bad experiences with those traditional planners have led many creative people to think that planners and planning don’t work for them. The simple fact is that creative people thrive when they plan how they’ll use their creativity.
Creative people like you — whom I call Creative Giants — need planners that support project management and time management. You also need a system that allows you to schedule creative work during your personal peak times.
Since I couldn’t find a product on the market that fit my needs or the needs of my clients, I started making my own planners. Not long after that, I started sharing them with my friends and readers, experimenting along the way. I revised, added, deleted, and finally developed a variety of planners that help creative people focus on doing what matters and staying on track, instead of just crossing stuff off a list.

No, because this version is 100% digital. We offer this version so we can serve our worldwide customers and readers easily. If a printed version is your jam, we have that too! You can check out our beautifully bound Momentum Planner here.
Well, if that's the case, we have one! Head on over to this page to check out our awesome printed and bound Momentum Planner.
The Momentum Planner Digital Pack is a PDF Portfolio digital file. It will last you the entirety of the year. If you choose to print it out, it prints at 8.5" x 11".
You can plan monthly with our free planners, but to really do your best work, you’ll want to pull your Big Ideas together with your To-Do list. Our quarterly and yearly planners enable you to do that — and to plan more than a month ahead.
If you don’t have time to plan, you don’t have time to not plan. You have to make time to make time just like you have to have money to make money.
Our planners are laid out simply and intuitively, so that after a few projects, you’ll be a pro planner. In addition to creating the planners to be intuitive, we also offer our Momentum Planning e-Course. This course lays out our planning method over about 12 weeks (and if you've got a hankering for finishing it sooner than that, we have an option to view the whole course all at once!).
Our research and experience show that most people don’t get more than five important projects done per day anyway. The planners help you figure out the most important things you will do, not all the things you might like to do.
Our planners are not just calendars. They’re a full-fledged methodology that helps you focus on getting the right stuff done, and with our Momentum Planning e-Course you can learn all about it and how to implement it into your planning. You don’t need another calendar (your computer is great at that). You need a tool that helps you focus, prioritize, and take smart action.
Those tools are great. We use them, too. But they’re not great at helping you see what goals you’re going after; the multiple projects you need to do to achieve those goals; and how those projects end up on your calendar. That’s where these planners come in.
We’ve designed the planners to be elegant while making the best use of space. You ought to give them a try — you might just find they’re already the perfect size. And, if you decide they really are too big for you (8.5" x 11"), you can always check out our printed and bound Momentum Planner (a beautiful, undated planner that is 5" x 8").
