Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been especially quiet for a while now. Rest assured, everything is okay.
A lot of my creative mojo for June went to the Unconventional Guide that’ll be coming out next week. There were many, many days where I left everything I had on the field and walked away spent. It’s the most expansive product I’ve made yet, and there will be a good deal of follow-on ideas that come from it.
Aside from that, this move has proved more resource-intensive than we projected. As I wrote earlier this month, there was a chance we’d have to improvise mid-move, and that chance has become our current reality. We were scheduled to be in our house two days ago, but we’re still living in a hotel and may be doing so for the rest of the week. Obviously, staying in a hotel – especially one with a slow Internet connection – is not the most ideal setting for getting things done. I’m not sure how Chris gets anything done, but, to be fair, he has a lot more practice doing it than I do.
It looks like we’ll be able to move in by the end of this week, so I’ll probably have homebase set up in time to resume your regularly scheduled programming next week. Until then, I’m doing what I can with what I have, y’know?
When I do get set back up, watch out! Just because I haven’t been publishing doesn’t mean I haven’t been writing and thinking. I have a lot I want to share with you as soon as I can get the Forge up and going again.
Woot! 🙂
That’s cool Charlie. Looking forward for your future posts man.
Killlllller. Good luck with the move!!
