Join Our Community in the Virtual Start Finishing Book Club
There’s no denying that this year, more than ever, we are craving community. And while we still aren’t able to gather in real life just yet, the virtual world is alive and thriving. Creating community is such an important part of the pillars of success for leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives like yourself. That’s why I’m delighted to share that we’ve partnered with the amazing company hiitide to create the Virtual Start Finishing Book Club.
But this is not your average book club! Oh no. I’m pumped to get this started, so read on to see why I think what we’ve co-created together with hiitide will help you apply the insights from Start Finishing at a whole new level.
Daily companion courses: Each hiitide course contains 28 days of actionable micro-lessons designed to enhance retention, application, and collaboration. This way, you’ll be able to hold yourself – and your fellow book club cohorts – accountable to staying committed to learning the materials in Start Finishing and start putting them into action.
Live Q&As: You can ask your most pressing questions to me with two live Q&A sessions. These lively discussions incorporate the rest of the book club community as well; think of it like a Monthly Momentum Call (MMC), but solely around Start Finishing.
Support from like-minded entrepreneurs and creatives: With the rest of the book club community, you’ll be more likely to finish, apply, and share lessons and stories that will transform how you approach yourself and others – both personally and professionally.
In addition to these amazing aspects of the book club, we’ll be focusing on the concepts from the award-winning Start Finishing, discussing some of these concepts:
Finding your best-work project: I know, I know; you have a lot of big ideas and that’s great! But when you peel the layers back and look at what you really want to accomplish and can actually accomplish – in a reasonable, sustainable amount of time – you find that there are only a few things that shake out. By learning and sticking to the five projects rule, you’ll start to hone in on what really matters to you, right now.
Dividing your big ideas into smaller projects: From creating better morning routines, to learning how to stack and batch, to understanding the art of chunking, we’ll be breaking down what exactly it is you need to do to take your biggest ideas and get them done.
Building your success packs: We keep harping on the importance of community, and we’ll say it again; you need your people around and supporting you to succeed. I’ve seen it first-hand in my business and with the success of Start Finishing. By getting the right people in your success pack, you are that much more likely to push your project to done – and when you're in the book club, you'll have a lot more fun doing it.
Time-blocking to get your best work done: The critical fall-down for so many of us is that our swiss cheese schedules don’t support getting our best work done. By creating a schedule blueprint with the four different blocks of time, you’ll be able to make better choices and get real about where your time goes… and doesn’t go.
Pushing your project past done so it sets up the next project: Where most of us mark the end of the project is really just the beginning of the end. By intentionally building space for the transition work between big projects, we can finish strong with the current project and slingshot into the next one with some momentum. What would it feel like to not breathlessly run from one project to the next? Join the book club to find out.
