Jonathan Fields has been doing a series of Renegade Profiles for a few months now and lost his mind and asked if I would be part of the series. Run over and check out the conversation if you’d like to know:
- How I turned a weird obsession curiosity and passion about productivity and personal development into a business
- What role philosophy plays in my coaching practice. Apparently, you can do something with a philosophy degree.
- Why it’s really important to be helpful and authentic if you want your business to thrive
- How NOT to use Social Media
I’ve been a huge fan of Jonathan’s for a while now, and I’m really honored to be part of the series. I had a lot of fun during this interview, and I hope you enjoy it.
Also, if you didn’t know it, Jonathan is the author of the book Career Renegade: How to Make a Great Living Doing What You Love. It’s one of the best resources I’ve come across for inspiration and how-to if you’re looking to turn your existing skills and interests into a living instead of a job. I found myself nodding throughout the book and wishing that I didn’t have to learn so many lessons the hard way. Skip the hard way and buy the book.
Congrats on being a career renegade!
I too took control of my career. I was a consultant for 3 months, working the corporate world. But I then took the chance to start my own company and haven’t looked back since.
Just stumbled and submitted your blog to Viralogy. Hope it brings you some great traffic!
