Editor’sNote: This is a continuation of our core conversation, “Extraordinary Women Change the World.” In our last post, Nailah Blades shared with us what happened when she dropped the mask and sat into her power. Today, Personal Growth Coach and Speaker, Molly Gordon, the founder of Shaboom, Inc. shares with us how embracing the fog can bring much clarity and empowerment.
More About Molly: For more than 20 years Molly Gordon has been teaching spiritually and psychologically savvy “accidental entrepreneurs” how to earn really good livings doing work they love. Thanks, Molly. Appreciate this reminder in visual form. Reminds me that “the simplest things are the most profound!”
Thank you for contributing this wonderful piece. It can be so easy to fall into the trap of uncertainly and “fight” to get clarity, rather than waiting to see what opens up for us. This is a great reminder for me to sit with the fog I am sometimes enveloped in and really listen to my own heart and head. I’ve got the answers inside me. A great visualization for me…thank you.
The anxious part that hates to be a beginner kept saying, “But it’s only one step! What good will that do? You need to walk boldly forward, or not at all!” Yet it’s that same part that keeps me stuck in the fog for frickin’ EVER for fear of falling of the unseen edge. Thank you for this nudge, for the permission to stay in the fog, and for the way to not live in it for the rest of days 🙂
