Love, in 140 Characters

We had to take Angela to the hospital yesterday, but this post isn’t about that. It’s about the love, generosity, and support we got 140 characters at a time and how much we appreciate it.

This is also the first video post from my new home office. My 4′ x 8′ dry erase board came in today, so there’ll be more fixtures on the wall the next time you see it. This isn’t the video tour yet – that might air next week.

That what I like most about Twitter - the personal side of it ;-)

Hey Charlie, how scary! I'm so glad Angela is doing better and I'm glad you got support from your friends when you needed it most. It really is amazing how our reach through a keyboard and screen can spread so much and touch someone so deeply.

It's those scary medical moments that remind us what's really important. Glad to hear that everyone is doing OK, and take care of yourselves.

Yikes! So glad the scary stuff is ruled out, and keeping my fingers crossed that it turns out to be nothing big!

Great story about the power of social media, and a good reminder for me that virtual is just as real as real :-)

Take care of you both!

So SO glad everything is okay. And wow, what a beautiful story about Twitter. It's amazing how you can create these deep connections with "strangers" and develop real relationships in 140 characters.

Charlie,

Your social network is the community your built. As my dad used to say "you are your environment." Yesterday's support is a reflection of you and what you put out into the world.

It's so good to SEE you. What a lovely space you have there.

I'm glad you are both okay. Much love!

What a sweet video Charlie. It's pretty amazing the relationships we can create through social media. So many people don't get it, but I bet I can count on my online peeps more than most people IRL.

I'm glad you all are doing ok. :)
