If You Wear the Shirt, You’ve Got to Do It!

by Charlie Gilkey on August 9, 2012

As I mentioned in a previous post, a few weeks ago, I was in Boulder with Jonathan Fields and his Good Life Project crew. There were some rocks near the house we were staying in that led up to a spectacular view, so of course we had to climb them.

Eric Michael Pearson snagged this picture of me on the way down. He’s a sneaky photographer, but also a damn good one. (Click on the photo to see a higher-resolution picture.)

There’s something about the shirt that helps me walk the talk.

I prefer the epigraph adopted by the Mars Curiosity team – Dare Mighty Things. Same idea – better for people who get the vapors over language.

Hah, fantastic shot :)

Also, rock-climbing is a super-primal, fulfilling thing to do. I highly recommend it.
