June is here, which means it’s summer time. Okay, technically summer (in the Northern Hemisphere) doesn’t start until June 21, but I grew up in the South, which means summer starts on Memorial Day.
I mentioned last month that May is a disruptive month, whereas June tends to be a transition month as we transition from the energetics of spring to the energetics of summer. I recognize that everyone doesn’t have kids and go on summer vacation, but I’ve learned that we’re still animals who are sensitive to the change in the seasons. Some people are energized by summer, whereas others (like me) want things to slow down so we can enjoy the long days outside.
And as we deal with our internal changes, we’re shifting to a changing external economy and perhaps the shifting energies of our coworkers.
Of course, I can’t know what your patterns are – I can only point out that they may be coming up now or soon. Make sure your plans for the summer acknowledge what those patterns are.
