Why Use Color in Planning?
Decades of productivity science and design research tells us that for many people, our brains use color to quickly make decisions about when things should be done and how to group things together.
That’s why you see planners that are all marked up with highlighters and colored pens. But if the idea of using color seems overwhelming, there are a few simple things you can do to get started.
Join us on August 31 at 1 PM Pacific Time for a workshop with rukristin, Feminist Scrapbooker and host of the Awesome Ladies Project, and Cory Huff, head of marketing at Productive Flourishing. Kristin is a long-time user of Productive Flourishing’s Momentum Planning system. She will share how she uses color to process her upcoming plans and make her planner easier to reference as she goes through her day.
If you want to work along in real-time, Kristin will be using washi tape, colored pencils, and highlighters. We will also show you how to use color with the Momentum Planner on the iPad.
