Solving the "What Do I Need to Do Now?" Problem
Creative people like you — whom I call Creative Giants — need planners that support project management and time management. You also need a system that allows you to schedule creative work during your personal peak times, amid all the chaos of working from home with your spouse, your kids, and all the other distractions right now.
Since I couldn’t find a product on the market that fit my needs or the needs of my clients, I started making my own planners. Not long after that, I started sharing them with my friends and readers, experimenting along the way. I revised, added, deleted, and finally developed a variety of planners that help creative people focus on doing what matters and staying on track.
The Momentum Planner Cards provide the same features as the weekly and daily pages of our digital and bound planners, with the same alignment to the full system, but in a focused, just-enough-to-get-the-job-done format.
When a full planner is just a little more than you need.
We get it. It’s really hard to think about planning the rest of the year, or quarter, or month, when we just don’t know what things are going to be like even a week or two from now. For most of us, we need planning that helps us keep momentum when everything else in the world wants to sap our focus. We need planning that’s just enough to get the job done, without adding another layer of overwhelm to what we’re already experiencing.
The Momentum Planner Cards are the perfect planning horizon to keep you on task during this one-day-at-a-time, one-week-at-a-time world. Use them to plan the week of work and family priorities, and to track the day-to-day tasks that’ll help you stay focused, motivated, and grounded in the work that’s most important to you right now.
Daily Momentum Planner Cards
Grab a Daily Momentum Planner Card when you’re sitting at the kitchen table with the family, figuring out what your collective day’s going to look like. It can be your (and your whole family’s) anchor for staying focused on the things that matter most to you. Each pad comes with 65 double-sided planner cards, with a convenient dot grid on the back.
Weekly Momentum Planner Cards
Use the Weekly Momentum Planner Card in conjunction with your main planner (physical or digital). Tack it on the family message board, the chalkboard by the front door, or on the refrigerator to keep you and your family on target throughout the week. Each pad comes with 60 double-sided planner cards, with a convenient dot grid on the back.
How do the Momentum Planner Cards compare to the other planners in the Momentum Planning system?
The Momentum Planner Cards have the same functional, undated, daily and weekly planner pages you’ll find in our printed Momentum Planner, but in a handy “single-serve” format. We've also made the two Daily Planner Cards and the Weekly Planner Cards two distinctly different colors – white and blue – so you know immediately what kind of planner you're grabbing.
Tear one off the pad to use at your desk (or the kitchen table), or tuck it in your back pocket while you’re doing stuff around the house. Or post it where you and your “new coworkers” (i.e., spouse and kids), can see it too – and can see what you (and they) are up to today. They’re the daily or weekly planner that’s just enough for what you need right now, without everything else you don’t.
The Momentum Planner Cards are part of a complete, intuitive system that helps you:
Identify your big goals and projects.
Break projects into daily, weekly, quarterly, and monthly action items.
Plan when to spend time on action items
Track progress on goals and projects.

The Momentum Planner Cards, like the rest of the Momentum Planning system, are visual products, so you need to see the planners to understand them. Check out the images below to see what you'll get with each pad of Momentum Planner Cards. Note that the back of each card conveniently has a blank dot grid for you to jot down notes, sketches, or anything else you need to keep your planning momentum going.

You can download and print your own planner pages, but we (and other planner users) have found we really like the convenience of the planner cards – just tear one off the pad and bring it with you.
If you don’t have time to plan, you don’t have time to not plan. You have to make time to make time just like you have to have money to make money.
Our planners are laid out simply and intuitively, so that after a few projects, you’ll be a pro planner. In addition to creating the planners to be intuitive, we also offer our Momentum Planning e-Course. 15 lessons to help you plan, create, and finish your projects more effectively by learning our planning methodology. You can work at your own pace, and we've found that most people complete the course in about 11 weeks.
Our research and experience show that most people don’t get more than five important projects done per day anyway. The planners help you figure out the most important things you will do, not all the things you might like to do.
Our planners are not just calendars. They’re a full-fledged methodology that helps you focus on getting the right stuff done. The planner cards are one part of that whole system. If you want to see the whole thing in action, we recommend our Momentum Planning Digital Pack. We also have combined the digital pack with our Momentum Planning e-Course if you want all the tools to learn that methodology.
You don’t need another calendar (your computer is great at that). You need a tool that helps you focus, prioritize, and take smart action.
Those tools are great. We use them, too. But they’re not great at helping you see what goals you’re going after; the multiple projects you need to do to achieve those goals; and how those projects end up on your calendar. That’s where these planners come in.
We’ve designed the planners to be elegant while making the best use of space. You ought to give them a try — you might just find they’re already the perfect size. And, if you decide they really are too big for you (8.5" x 11"), you can always check out our printed, bound Momentum Planner, which is our beautiful, undated planner that is 5" x 8" instead by clicking here.
We also offer our Momentum Planning e-Course: 15 lessons to help you plan, create, and finish your projects more effectively than ever before by breaking down some of our best tools at Productive Flourishing into crystal-clear, bite-sized chunks.
