Since there’s only half the year left, our premium planners are now 1/2 price. It’s the only Productive Flourishing sale of the year and it’s a pretty darn good one.
The All-in-One Premium Planners for the rest of 2014 cost just $11, and the Blog, Project, and Action Planners cost $6 individually. If you want a bundle of two together, it’ll cost you $9.
If you’re a free planner enthusiast and have ever wondered if the Premium Planners would work for you, now is your best chance to give ’em a go.
What July 4th and New Year’s Day Have in Common
I’ve always treated the month of July as an assessment kind of month. I do some heavy analysis and review of our systems and figure out what’s working and what’s not. This assessment naturally leads to planning for Quarter 3 and the rest of the year. July is a good month to do this type of planning and review, not only because it’s the halfway point in the year but also because business in general cools off as people enjoy some downtime with families and friends on well-deserved vacations. Most of the business world slows down a bit, leaving some breathing room for planning.
The 4th of July really can be treated as another type of New Year’s Day – a great time to revisit the intentions and goals you set at the beginning of the year and recommit to what’s possible (and acknowledge what’s not) for the rest of the year. It’s hard to know on January 1 what you’re going to need to do in October, but when you’re looking only 3 months out from July, it’s a bit easier to see what needs to be done to get you where you want to go.
And one more note on planning: if you’ve been working on a project since the beginning of the year and it’s just not coming together, make sure you review the benefit of this one particular project in the grand scheme of where you want to go. It can be hard to put a lot of effort into something only to leave it behind, and it’s also an advanced entrepreneur who knows when it’s time to throw in the towel and move on. As I mentioned in Why Strategic Planning Is So Hard for Creative People, letting go of projects can be hard, but you don’t want something that doesn’t matter now to displace something that does.
A Quick Update on the 2015 Planners
We’re getting some questions about when the 2015 Premium Planners will be available. Rest assured we’re hard at work on those and plan to release them in August or September, with one more little surprise before they go live. In the meantime, check out our new planning page to get into the planning mindset.
