There are so many people who are anti-paid post, and I can't say that I blame them. Part of me misses the blogging world the way it used to be, but even when I read the blogs that seem "non-commercial", if I look deeper I can see the affiliate connections or businesses that people have built around the blog. Oh, and some people are way sneakier about doing PPP than I am. They write a post and just sneak the link in there and you have no idea that it is a paid post. Those blogs do better, I think. I think you should do whatever the heck you want. It's your blog. Although, it sounds like your goal is to build community.
