@ Girlpie: Now that you mention it, it's funny how many people try roofing projects from inside with screwdrivers. Wouldn't it be easier to do it from the outside with hammers?

This is a well written post that clarifies a tricky subject -- a much needed perspective. Thanks for getting me outside the building to see what needs doing, when, before I try to roof the project from inside!

@ Vered: A lot of the stuff that I write goes into an electronic system, for redundancy. I think a lot of people go wrong because they try to start in an electronic system - but where the electronic format clicks well (I'm thinking appointment scheduling), it's probably not to big of a deal. For a lot of things, though, I think trying to get ideas into the electronic system is trying to fit the square through the circle hole. Thanks for sharing your system!

It seems you're not the only one using a paper system. I do jot down IDEAS on paper, but everything else is electronic and I'm quite pleased so far. Interesting, though. Thank you.

Vereds last blog post..<a href="http://momgrind.com/2008/06/13/could-momgrind-use-a-little-profanity/" rel="nofollow">Could MomGrind Use A Little Profanity?</a>
