It’s December?! I’ve been a bit shocked at the turn of every month that it’s a new month. 2013 has been a full out sprint for us here at Productive Flourishing and it’s been a really good year.
December is a great month to take stock of how the year has gone. Remember that we all have a bit of negativity bias – we’re more prone to look at what we haven’t done to look at everything we have done. Take note of what you haven’t done and perhaps reflect on the causes of those things need getting done, but focus more on celebrating what you have done. Everything you’ve finished, shipped, presented, sold, coordinated, accomplished, secured, maintained, learned, and nurtured counts as positive value you created. Thank you for everything you’ve done over the year.
Use that energy to start seeding what you’re going to do next year. You’re far more likely to believe that you can do fewer great things than settle for a lot of little things.
