Jen and Charlie’s Work Party

Small Business Owners:

Can’t get focused?

So many things are happening at once in your business, it’s hard to decide what to put first.

When you don’t know where to start, it’s hard to get motivated to do marketing and all the other things that grow your business.

Ugh.

It feels like bouncing between extremes.

Sometimes you just go with the flow and see where that takes you. But when that gets scary, you buckle down and push really hard – which hurts your spirit.

You talk to others and read stuff online to get ideas, but implementing them never happens quite the way you hope. You’re busy, but you don’t feel very productive very often.

We see you.

You’re not doing anything wrong.

You’re busy working on and focusing on the immediate picture. Nothing wrong with that. You have to get stuff done.

When you’ve got a lot on your plate, sometimes it’s hard to remember to take a step back – and really look.

You can feel clear-headed and motivated. You can get stuff done without sacrificing your creativity and flow.

Jen and Charlie’s Work Party

Two and half hours to get on track and let loose.

You can find:

  • Clear-headed thinking and purposeful action in your small business
  • Peace in your physical workspace
  • Freedom from guilt
  • Big-picture clarity about your most important work
  • Confidence and push-free motivation to do the stuff you need to do

Transform your space and systems with insightful, compassionate support.

There’s no real reason why work can’t be fun. At the Work Party, get your hands in the mud and do the stuff you’ve been meaning to do: clearing and planning.

Jen and Charlie’s Work Party includes:

  • A conference call with two trusted experts on small business productivity and workspace inspiration
  • An inspired look at your workspace and devoted time to clear out what’s bugging you
  • A birds’ eye view of your current work to get a clear action plan for specific projects
  • Jen and Charlie’s undivided attention – ask specific questions about challenges in your small business

The class structure:

Hour 1: Focus on your workspace and removing immediate visual distractions.

Hour 2: Focus on identifying what your work priorities are and how to bring them to life.

Will this really work?

We know you’ve tried stuff before that hasn’t worked. Sometimes you really can have too much theory. And analysis. It can be a barrier to actually doing stuff.

The Work Party is not generic organizing and productivity help. It’s a supportive environment where we help you see the Big Picture in your work and workspace – and give you time to apply it.

And just like Vegas, what happens at the Work Party stays at the Work Party. We will not judge you or shame you into working; we will meet you where you are and help you start moving in the direction you want to go.

Jen and Charlie – a class act

Charlie Gilkey and Jennifer Hofmann are small business coaches who are opposite sides of the same coin.

Charlie is a systems guy. Grounded, calm, and playful, Charlie has 29 years’ experience wearing many hats simultaneously. In addition to being a successful small business owner, Charlie is also a Guard officer, a coach for creative entrepreneurs, and a practical philosopher.

Charlie’s greatest strength is in helping people harness their creativity and productivity to make progress on the things that matter most.

Jen is a space gal. Her home office expertise comes from 36 years experience as a messy, creative person. She is a systems expert, small business owner, and business organizing instructor for Chemeketa Community College.

Jen is a compassionate healer who helps people make peace with their piles – and celebrates as their creativity and productivity emerge.

Testimonials

We know the Work Party will help you, but don’t take our word for it. Here what past participants have to say:

I loved how the Work Party covered both the physical and mental barriers to working effectively. The specific techniques to work through each type have already proven effective in my home office and in business planning/ideating.
Crystal Robang

The greatest benefit of the class for me is a new perspective, a new way of looking at and thinking about my workspace and business. Even better, I learned to use familiar tools and practices already in my arsenal. Applying existing skills to new problems in a sensible way should lead to excellent, sustainable results.
Daniel Mann

It’s a very refreshing and revitalizing class, a lot of fun, and something for everyone.
Amy Brown

The work party experience is priceless. This was one of the best gifts I’ve given myself in ages. To be learning, tidying, planning, and sharing with a whole group of others in similar situations across North America was surprisingly refreshing. I left the call clear-headed and in action. Definitely not how I started!
