Whether you can believe it or not, we’re now almost half-way done with 2014. The summer months are an interesting time for business. Many people take vacations or shift attention to other pursuits.
More globally, attention spans shorten and unless you’re a seasonal business, summer can be slow and challenging. This is why June is such an important month for planning. First, take some time to look back at your quarterly goals and finish up any projects hanging around since April. Then look forward to the rest of the year.
Consider how your yearly goals have changed or if they’ve stayed the same. Are you on track to achieve what you’d hoped at the beginning of the year? If not, what in your plans needs to change to reflect your current reality?
Take some time this month to reset, rest, rejuvenate, and start building up energy for the second half of this year!
