It’s time to pick up the planners for February. Actually, it’s a little past time – and I appreciate the irony of being behind on planners designed to keep you on schedule.
Release Notes:
- The User’s Guide is still out of date, but I’ll fix it soon. There are references to the removed elements above and the DPP is now easier to use. I’ll update it and make it more aesthetically pleasing soon.
- The Freelancer Planner is…stalled. I’m stuck and need help. I’ll post about this soon – and now that I’ve admitted it, it’ll be easier. If you’re interested in this product, be on the look out for that post. What would be even better would be a comment or an email at charlie AT ProductiveFlourishing DOT com letting me know you’re interested – it’s the surest way to get me out of the funk quickly.
February is a weird in-between month. Is it deep winter, or early spring? Do we try to keep up with resolutions, or realize they were unrealistic? And what’s the point of Ground Hog day?
We build the foundations for a better tomorrow today – and it doesn’t matter whether today is a weird day in February or not. There is opportunity in the mystery. Use it to clear the decks for a Mad March!
Okay, enough talk – the planners, already!

Charlie, while it is a bit ironic that you ran a few days behind, that doesn’t begin to approach an experience I had a few years back. I signed up for a time management class sponsored by my corporate training department. The instructor didn’t show up and gave no notice. He later apologized by email and promised to send a copy of Covey’s First Things First book to each student who showed up to the class that he stood up. Then he never sent the book. Hmm, I think I learned a fair amount about time management from him.

Charley,
I used your Blog Planner in January and came back for more this month. I think this is a fabulous way to get your thoughts organized, and whatever you don’t use this month, you can apply to the next when you have writers block.
Thanks!

The heatmap looks like a pretty interesting concept. Of course, getting things on paper is the first step to the long haul. I’ll try this out and see how it works. Thanks.
